One singer. Live vocals. Allowed up to 5 back up singers. 5 minute time limit. Lyrics must have barbecue/chile theme. Costumes considered. No scenery, but hand props are allowed. Performance date: May 14.
Anyone have some serious singing chops?
Judging based on the following:
1. Vocal skill – Tone, pitch, articulation.
2. Creativity of Lyrics - Use of Honored Country Theme, Barbecue, Memphis and or Memphis in May – how Chile and BBQ is incorporated
3. Reaction of the Crowd – Positive response…or are they throwing rib bones??
4. Overall Impression - all of the above, plus costumes, pageantry, dancers, etc.
